Fly-Out Goes Wrong Way

description

If the screen resolution is set lower than the size of the gadget plus the full size fly-out, the fly-out will go the wrong direction and will be completely off-screen. The work-around is to minimize the gadget and then click the fly-out link.

NOTE: This has only been validated as an error on Windows 7.

Problem was not fixed. I'm not sure of the best way to fix this. I tried to make the gadget smaller before the flyout is shown, but that seemed like a very odd experience.

I added code to shrink the gadget before showing the flyout when the screen resolution is too small for the large size and the flyout size. Unfortunately, it keeps it's top-left origin, which causes smaller resolutions to show the flyout on the right, whereas the intent was to keep the top-right origin, and show the flyout on the left. The only way this seems to be possible is by having the user shrink the gadget manually.

Consider limiting the size to one that can host both the gadget and its flyout. This may not be possible until a custom size is possible via settings, where we can easily warn the user that the flyout will be displayed incorrectly for certain sizes.
